The part of the festive season

The festive season is coming to a close and you might be feeling like you're in limbo land unsure of what day or time it is without the normal daily structure of work or you have kids the daily school runs. What I find to be really beneficial is having a routine down pat where you still conduct yourself in a way where regardless of being at work or home you have some sense that you are back in control rather than just chasing your tail.

1. Aim to get up and go to bed at a similar time each day. This will help your body clock and still help you be prepared for any day ahead.

2. Have a plan. Either pack your lunch or have a fridge with food that is easily accessible. If you are headed to meet your friend "Gym" then make sure you make a time to do it. If your struggling with events popping up or say you want to go to the beach, go early so that you have the whole day free to do activities.

3. Set some goals. Coming back into the swing of things, having a goal is great to point you in the right direction. Remember be S.M.A.R.T. about it (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time frame). Don't run on a hope plan.

Happy Training!
